Open744 Simulator

Open744 is a wrapper for the Aerowinx 744 Precision Simulator (popularly known as "PS1", a DOS flight sim) that lets you run the sim under Linux or FreeBSD without a DOS emulator.

Features

System Requirements

  1. i386 platform (eg Intel Pentium (tm) series, AMD Athlon, etc)
  2. GNU/Linux, or FreeBSD (it may also work on NetBSD and OpenBSD)
  3. X Window System

As of Open744 release 0.9, Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP are also supported, using the MinGW and DJGPP development tools.

Required libraries are:

  1. SDL Simple DirectMedia Layer
  2. SDL_mixer 1.2
  3. SDL_Console
  4. SDL_image 1.2
  5. SDL_ttf 2.0
